At the heart of the course is the examination of the main subject areas - landscape, portraiture, documentary reportage, fashion, art photography - and the detailed analysis of exemplary images in terms of their cultural and ideological contexts. Technical developments that have had an important influence on the art of photography are also studied, focusing on the most characteristic methods of producing photographic pictures.
