Spring 2009: Study in Venice with LdM!
Lorenzo de' Medici is pleased to announce the opening of its newest campus this Spring 2009 semester. LdM Venice, in affiliation with Istituto Venezia, offers students an opportunity to study in an historic setting in the city center's Campo Santa Margherita. Whether you traverse the narrow streets on foot or the canals via vaporetto, you're certain to find yourself transported by the atmosphere that is uniquely Venice.
LdM Venice Spring 2009 features a range of courses in the liberal and studio arts, with an emphasis on Italian language and on the rich artistic resources of the city of Venice. In accordance with LdM's commitment to ensuring students' successful intercultural interactions, students will enroll in either a 3 or 6 credit Italian language course as well as a complement of 3 to 4 electives.
The LdM Venice campus is also a second option for students interested in the One Semester - Three Cities Program. Students spending the beginning of their semester in Tuscania and Rome will now be able to complete the program in either Florence or Venice! The One Semester - Three Cities Program is a fascinating course of study that invites students to experience the roots of Western Civilization as well as the modern language and culture of Italy.
The spring application deadline is November 15th.
