The series of excavations planned for 2009, organized by Lorenzo de' Medici under
the archaeological supervision of Etruria Meridionale and the town of Tuscania, has
unearthed a sepulcher with burial niches dating from the Hellenistic period of the
Etruscan civilization. This particular excavation is part of an overall project
under the direction of Dott. Stefano Giuntoli, who has already seen some important
finds during recent excavations in the Pina delle Rusciare and Fosso Caprino areas,
including the discovery of six sarcophagi and a bronze mirror now on display in the
National Museum of Riposo. NEW: Lorenzo de' Medici Expands in 2009We are pleased to announce the addition of a new facility at LdM Florence. LdM's newest facility is attached to the church of the Medici family (Chiesa di San Lorenzo) in the beautiful Piazza San Lorenzo and very close to the other 10 facilities hosting more than 400 courses from over 30 subject areas. This expansion will allow Lorenzo de' Medici to continue to meet its growing student population's academic needs. | Lorenzo de' Medici is committed to providing a high-quality
education that enables students to realize their own potential, develop and apply
their creativity, and interact successfully with the community worldwide. - LdM
